Wherein Ye Greatly Rejoice

1 Peter 9:3-8..Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy, has begotten us again (we were born first of the flesh, now born again of the Spirit) unto a lively (living) hope ( Paul call this the Blessed hope) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4. To an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time ( last days) 6. Wherein ye greatly rejoice.
What was Peter saying? If we are born again of the Spirit of God, we have an inheritance in heaven that will never rust, never be defiled, will never corrupt, a crown of life, ready and waiting for us who are kept by the power of God until the day of our salvation from this world to our heavenly home and that should make us greatly rejoice! Even though, as he continues, we are in heaviness through various temptations that the trial of our faith might be found to praise, honor, and glory when Jesus appears. We haven't seen him, but we love him, and believe in him, and this causes us to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory!
1 Peter 4:12.. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. But rejoice, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
The trial of our faith is not to destroy us, but to prove us. If we belong to Jesus, we will be tried and tested, we will be partakers of his sufferings, so that when His glory is revealed, we will greatly rejoice because we will be like him, for we shall see him as he is, and every man that has this hope in him, purifies himself even as He is pure(1 John 3:2-3). The fiery trial that is to try you, that you may be purified as gold, brings great rejoicing at the appearing of Jesus!
Isa. 61:10..I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a Bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.. We have been clothed and robed! Don't it make you want to rejoice?! God bless.

You Are Holy, Lord of All

Isaiah 6:1 - In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphim, each one had six wings, with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory….

Holy, our Lord is Holy, the Holy one of Israel…God commanded us to be holy as he is holy.

What does that mean? Is it possible to be holy, live holy? According to God it is, for he told us to be holy, but we can only be holy, if we are filled with the Holy Spirit. 

That’s why Jesus said in St. John 3, that we MUST be born again of the Spirit. Except a man be born again, (from above) he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God, does not commit sin,  for his seed remains in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 

Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you, but you are washed, but you are sanctified (holy), but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Isaiah said “Woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips,” then a seraphim took a coal from the altar, and laid it on Isaiah’s lips, and said “this has touched your lips, your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged.”

2 Corinthians 7:1 - Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse our self from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 

1 Peter 1:15 - But as he which has called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. Because it is written, Be ye Holy, for I am Holy. 

It might be hard sometimes, but it is possible to live a holy life in Christ Jesus. 

Hundreds of years after Isaiah, John also saw the Lord, saw the seraphim, and heard them still proclaiming, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come….God bless!
